Level Up Spiritually ...
Yesterday as I was spending time studying my Word, the Lord spoke to me about a particular topic. There are many of us who are waiting for God to fix things in our lives but we are not following the Spiritual principles for Him inhabit every are of our lives. For example, if your marriage is not working you've tried marriage counseling and conferences.....but you haven't tried God. Or maybe you are attempting get your business off of the ground but you have never prayed and listened to God concerning the business.
The key principle that many of us are missing today is Matthew 6:33.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
This means that all that you need, want and desire will come to pass if you SEEK. Are you seeking God the way that you should? When was the last time that you worshipped God out of desire...instead of duty? We are living is a time in which we listen to the opinions of others more than we pray. We are seeking advice from the created, instead of focusing on the Creator.
I want to encourage you today to make seeking God your most important assignment. Declare today that pleasing God is more important than making (even) your husband happy. Decide to sow into the Kingdom of God as consistently as you sow into Sprint/AT&T/Verizon. Understand that by seeking God, you will indeed build the capacity and access the provision to do it all.
